I was able to mount a rechargeable battery, external mic & a phone holder so I can see what the GoPro is shooting, using the GoPro app. So now I have about 4-5 extra hours of battery life. Plus the two or so hours on the cameras battery. AND! It has a screw mount on the bottom so you can use a mono pole & raise the height.
Very steady shots & no audio noise while holding the camera.
Really stoked about this & the times i’ve taken it out I get thumbs up & “envy looks” from other camera nerds.

At first glance, this stabilizer doesn’t seem like much. However, there is a noticeable difference between it and holding your camera by hand (in my case, a GoPro). Still not the smoothest if you are walking around, but I think it would work well if you stand in one place or film while using a skateboard. May also be better for heavier cameras.
